This is the third time I’m experiencing the fall season. I have grown up in a tropical country where it is either sunny or rainy. So far fall is my second favourite season. The place is not too cold or too hot, it’s just perfect.
To match this perfect season, I try to ensure a faultless fall’s makeup look. Without going into too many details, it has to be that iconic classic look – red or nude lips, matte face and simple eyes. I’m one of those people who put a lot of thought when I’m wearing makeup. I like to ensure that my makeup look blends well with the colour of the headscarf I’m wearing. Also, I do not want to overdramatize the look, I want the focus to also be on the garment I’m wearing. At the same time, I fancy looking well put together :). I mostly prefer a minimal look. If I’m heavy on the lip I will go light on the eyes or vice versa.
I decided to share two simple makeup looks that you can find me dotting during the fall’s season. One with bolder lip and one with a pinkish nude lip.
Achieve the Hijab Girl Simple Fall Makeup look
My face makeup is the same for both looks, I only switched up the lipstick.
Foundation – I’m wearing the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation that has been on my wishlist like forever. I finally bought it! Spoiler alert – before I do a full review on it – THUMBS UP!!!!
Concealer – My Current Fav8, the Glossier Stretch Concealer
Blush and Highlighter – for blush, I’m wearing the shade – Culver City Color from the Smashbox L.A. Lights Palette. I also wore the highlighter from that same palette.
Eyes – The Culver City Color shade from the Smashbox L.A. Lights Palette is very flattering, hence, I dabbed some over my eyes as my eyeshadow. Under my lower lash waterline, I have on the elf Shimmer eyeliner ( There is no shimmer showing when applied).

Mascara – the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara
LOOK ONE – THE DRAMATIC DARK RED LIP
No matter how tired you’re appearing, just put on a red lip, you’ll immediately look like you just woke up from a deep 8-hour sleep. As it inches toward colder days, we need something that can make our sleepy face look vibrant. The timeless red lip is like the cherry that is on the top of a sundae that literally spells out ‘a tasty choice’.
The Hikari Lip Crayon in the shade ‘Duchess’ is a great fall reddish lipstick. It is also very moisturising and felt comfy on the lip ( all our favourite fall words)
LOOK TWO – THE SIMPLE NUDE LIP
When I want my cute sweaters to do all the talking, I’ll like to tone down my makeup look, to do that, a nude lip is my knight in shining armour – my favourite Marc Jacob lipstick in the shade ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’.
