Why is everyone so obsessed with beauty products lately, particularly those prestige ones? In my opinion, the new era of digital marketing really plays an important role in this global phenomena. More people are becoming aware of the importance of taking care of their skin by using clean, high-end and just good quality products.
I am sure popular beauty giants like Sephora are really enjoying this new change.ย It’s good that beauty retailers are including samples in your order. This really helps me get a chance to test out a product before actually purchasing it. In previous posts, I mentioned that I am not a fan of reviewing sample products. As such, I ensure that in the title there is something that read ‘Sample’. I feel sometimes sample products does not always work like the actual full-size version. But it is a win-win situation. However, I still like receiving them. It can help make the buying decision easier.
This post is based on Sample Products that I tried. Hence, I will share my views based on the experience of using them and what influenced me in getting their full-size version.
The Estee Lauder NightWear Plus 3-Minute Detox Mask
A deep cleansing mask that every busy girl who doesn’t have sensitive skin needs in their beauty stash. After the first usage, the effect it gives, I was completely blown away. My tired, oily skin with clogged pores was magically transferred. My skin tone looks brighter, my pores were smaller but cleaner. I can see why it is called the detox mask. I was stunned that a mask that you only leave on for 3-minutes or less could give such a transformation. It is the easiest and mess-free mask I ever used. You only need to apply very little.ย Just imagine this sample packet last me more than a week.
The application and removing process is just like when using a cleanser. As soon as the sample finished, I order the full version from Sephora.ย I will definitely do a full review of this Mask in some later post to keep you updated on my views. So far positive, however, a person with sensitive skin said this mask might be too harsh.

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer
I am very late to join the ship on this one. But because my initial Too Faced experience was not a positive one, I just ignored the publicity. However, I was left impressed after using this primer. The hype is justifiable. The Hangover primer really adds a brightness effect to your face. Plus, the silicone-free texture creates that perfect based for makeup application. One of the best thing about this primer it doesn’t contain dimethicone. I will be getting the full version of this.

Farmacy Eye Dew
I am little worried now, I keep adding new products to purchase on my shopping list. My bank account is crying. Unfortunately, the Farmacy Eye Dew did not make the cut. Honestly, I was left a little awestruck. Most of the products from Farmacy, I literally have or heard wonderful things about them. I did not notice any change when using this eye cream. It is just a plain cream. I still have some left in the packet to use up.
Guerlain Terracotta Joli Teint with SPF-20
A great light-weight foundation that applies beautifully. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin; it makes the skin look radiant and healthy. The lasting power is pretty good. Too bad I have a lot of foundations. But I am really considering in getting the full-size version. I know it seems like summer foundation but I think it can be worked all year round. Nothing wrong if your skin has that sun-kissed glow ๐ without going into the sun. lol.
