I am a fan of every Body Shop mask I used. In my opinion, Body Shop makes some of the best facial masks out there. Whatever the goal their masks are set out to achieve, it indeed does. The Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Face Mask is no exception.
The Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Face Mask Review
This mask really does a fabulous job of replenishing, hydrating and moisturising my skin. The best part of the whole experience of using this product is that it makes my skin stay hydrated for a week. So I do not need to re-apply mask throughout the week. When having those busy weeks, it’s nice when I can get a chance to skip this step from my beauty routine.
On almost every Sunday, I do my in-home facial. This is when I scrub my face, then apply my mask. For over two months now, instead of using one mask, I sometimes use two masks. I first use a deep cleaning mask like the Body Shop Charcoal Purifying Glow Face Mask. Afterward, I’ll then go and apply the Honey Mask on my face. In the morning when I woke up, I could see the differences in my skin – glowing, soft and smooth. Because my skin is well pampered, my makeup applies beautifully. Even though it is winter and it is expected that my face will have dry spots since I’m using this mask I hardly encounter that issue now. Previously, I did. Therefore, making it an ideal winter mask that we need to include in our beauty cabinet.
The feeling of applying this mask is very luxurious. I love that the scent of the product is not overpowering like with some products that carry the sweet scents. Trust me, I am very picky when using a product with a sweet scent. The product has a sticky and thick consistency.
The Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Face Mask Ingredients
Like with many of the Body Shop masks, this mask is also paraben, silicone and mineral oil free. Also, it is formulated with honey, marula oil, olive oil etc.
